Voting and Elections

The next municipal election will be held on March 11, 2025 for Commissioner of District 2 and District 4. Anyone interested in running for City Commission should make an appointment with the City Clerk before opening a campaign account or filing any paperwork (call 561-586-1662). Qualifying begins at noon on Tuesday, November 12 and ends at noon on Tuesday, November 26, by appointment only. Two documents showing proof of residency must be provided at qualifying (driver's license or passport, vehicle registration, utility bill not more than one (1) month old, mortgage statement, information sheet from the property appraiser showing homestead exemption, or lease) along with two checks made out to the city ($100 for qualifying fee and $245 for state assessment fee). Click on the Supervisor of Elections link under Important Links to check ballot status, voting precinct or other voter-related issues.
